La r\u00e9sistance thermique totale RT est la somme de la r\u00e9sistance thermique de toutes les couches de mat\u00e9riau et de la r\u00e9sistance au transfert thermique sur les surfaces interne et externe de la structure\u00a0: RT = RSI + \u03a3R + RSE [m2.K\/W]<\/p>\n<h2>Coefficient de transmission thermique (valeur U)<\/h2>\n<p>La valeur U ou valeur de transmission thermique d\u00e9finit l&rsquo;\u00e9change de chaleur global \u00e0 un \u00e9tat stable entre deux environnements s\u00e9par\u00e9s par une structure \u00e0 une r\u00e9sistance thermique R. Cela inclut l&rsquo;effet de tous les ponts thermiques, y compris l&rsquo;influence sur les goujons et les ancres qui font partie de la construction et de la ma\u00e7onnerie. Le coefficient de perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la chaleur indique la perte de chaleur en watts, qui se propage dans une superficie de 1 m2 de construction, \u00e0 une diff\u00e9rence de temp\u00e9rature environnementale de 1 K. Plus la diffusivit\u00e9 thermique du mat\u00e9riau est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus la temp\u00e9rature du mat\u00e9riau va changer rapidement par rapport aux variations de la temp\u00e9rature de surface. Il est d\u00e9fini par : a = \u03bb \/ (c.p) [m\u00b2\/s]<\/p>\n<h2>Effusivit\u00e9 thermique b<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;effusivit\u00e9 thermique est la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;absorber la chaleur du mat\u00e9riau. Elle permet d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer les variations de la temp\u00e9rature de surface en fonction du flux de chaleur \u00e0 la surface. Plus l&rsquo;effusivit\u00e9 thermique du mat\u00e9riau est faible, plus l&rsquo;effet de refroidissement sur un organisme vivant est faible.
